Domain Names
If you wish to have your
own *Domain Name for your site, we will be happy to help you register
one. If this is not important to you, it is possible to host your
site within ours ('Celebration' or 'Personal' sites only), in which case
the link for your website would be something like
www.kdwebdesign.co.uk/yourname

www.ourspecialday.co.uk

Hosting
Depending on the
size of site required and what you chose to do about your domain name, we
can arrange *hosting for you. If you decide to host your site within
our webspace, the first year's hosting would be included in the setup cost
of your site. You can even have an email address to use with your site.

Updates
Again, depending on the
type of site required, we can update your site for you on an ad-hoc
basis. Unless you decide to have the site on our webspace, you may
wish to take over the running of the site yourself after we have set it
up, which can be arranged.

Traffic
Presumably
if you want your site on the web, you are happy for it to be accessible to
all. If, however, you only want to give access to people you tell
about it, it is possible to password it to keep it private. Should
you want to encourage as many people as possible to your site, we can help
you by submitting it to internet search engines (such as Google).

Hit Counters
We
can add a hit counter to your site which will tell you how many visitors
you have had. This will also be able to tell you where some of those
visitors have come from - i.e. if they are finding your site through
search engines, or have come through links you may have posted elsewhere
on the internet.
